Workmanship

Spear’s Landscape stands behind the quality of our landscape design and installations. We are committed to our clients, and all workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of installation

Plant Material 

All plant material, other than sod, will live at least one year if not damaged by weather, transplanted or removed, vandalized or other physical injury caused by humans, or neglect by the customer. If a plant dies within 12 months of planting from any other cause than listed above, Spear’s will replace the plant without charge.

Hardscapes

Spear’s Landscape provides a 2 year warranty on all hardscapes (not including poured concrete). Hardscapes are any patios, fire pits, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, or outdoor structures that Spear’s installed for you. In the event that a hardscape incurs a structural failure due to defective material or workmanship, Spear’s will repair and restore that hardscape to its original condition without charge.

Water Features

All materials are guaranteed under the manufacturer’s warranty. All workmanship is guaranteed 12 months from installation, contingent upon proper maintenance, start up, and winterization.

Irrigation

All materials are guaranteed under the manufacturer’s warranty. All workmanship is guaranteed 12 months from installation, contingent upon proper maintenance, start up, and winterization.

Outdoor Lighting

All materials are guaranteed under the manufacturer’s warranty. All workmanship is guaranteed 12 months from installation.

Limitations

Spear’s Landscape makes no warranty regarding concrete or sod.

This warranty does not cover discoloration, uneven wear, or damage to hardscapes due to use or misuse, weather conditions, vandalism, fire, tampering or neglect, tree roots, or any other condition not in Spear’s Landscape’s control.

The warranty is only given to the original customer and is not transferrable if the homeowner sells the property or plants. This warranty does not cover damage or failure due to faulty design from anyone other than Spear’s Landscape.
