CUSTOM Outdoor Kitchen DESIGN

Every kitchen is custom, but we often recommend a grill, a refrigerator, storage, and counter space. You can also add a sink, bar seating, and even a mounted TV.

Materials used in outdoor kitchens should be weather-resistant and easy to clean. The base is usually constructed from block.  We recommend granite for countertops because it’s durable, heat-resistant, and won’t fade in the sun. Stainless steel is a popular choice for cabinets and other appliances.

There are a few factors to consider here. Ideally, an outdoor kitchen is close enough to the house to be able to easily transport supplies back and forth, but far enough away to prevent smoke from blowing into the house. Placing an outdoor kitchen closer to the house can also reduce the cost of running gas, water, and electrical lines.

It depends on your outdoor kitchen’s features and appliances. A gas line removes the need for a propane tank. Electricity is necessary for the fridge, grill igniters, outlets, and lighting. And if you want a sink, you will need a water line and a drainage solution.

Most municipalities do not require a permit for an outdoor kitchen. However, gas or electrical lines will need to pass an inspection. If you are adding a roof or pergola over the kitchen, additional structural permits will be required. We will handle all the necessary paperwork and inspections for you.
