A client in Eden Prairie, MN contacted us for an updated front entryway. They wanted a more functional space where they could sit and enjoy the outdoors.
To complete this process, the Spear’s Landscape team:
- Removed the client’s existing walkway.
- Installed a new paver walkway with a sitting area and seating wall.
- Created a new front stoop with pavers.
- Used clay paver banding to tie in red color to the brick of the house.
Following the initial planning, we created custom 2D and 3D Landscape Designs.
As part of our 3D Landscape Design, we include every last detail, down to the plants, trees, flowers, and mulch. This creates a completed design so that the client can make any changes before we begin work.
One of the challenges we faced during the process was the removal of the existing concrete on the stoop. Once removed, we were then able to install the new paver walkway. We also used a clay paver banding on the patio, wall, and pillars, as accents to tie in the red brick. This created a welcoming flow from the paver walkway to the front entryway.
The eye-catching front entryway now has an area for seating.
