Our client in Bloomington, MN wanted to enhance the curb appeal of their property. The overgrown trees and shrubbery in the front yard obscured the architecture of the home, and the driveway needed to be replaced.
To complete this project, the Spear’s Landscape team:
- Removed the old driveway and installed a new paver driveway.
- Installed a new walkway to the front entry, with an aesthetic wall and pillars.
- Removed old trees to make the house more visible.
- Added new plants, mulch, and edging to finish the look.
Our design team created a 2D plan to our client’s specifications, which was then turned into a 3D Landscape Design.
Creating a 3D Landscape Design allows for adjustments before any work is done, with the result just as the customer desires.
One of the challenges with this landscape design was to create a hardscape that complemented the architecture of the home, without being able to see the house behind the overgrown trees and shrubs.
Take a look at the end result.
The house now has a completely different look after the removal of the overgrown plants and trees and the addition of new plants, mulch, and edging. The house and its gorgeous architecture are now highly visible.
