| Landscape Process |
We
at Spears Landscape, Inc. want our customers to know and understand
how a landscape project comes together. Following are the steps we
follow to ensure that each landscape project experience is a winner:
|
| We start with the initial consultation. |
- We meet with you to assess the need for property development.
- After
that meeting, we write a follow-up outline of concepts for the proposed
project based on sound horticultural practices. This outline is not a
formal landscape design. Rather, its a way for you to get a feel for
the projects parameters.
|
When
you are comfortable with the outline, the next step is the formal
landscape design. There are three parts to this step of the process:
|
| Part 1. Program Development |
- Well meet with you at the site to talk at length about your ideas and requirements.
- Well assess the site and take measurements and photos as needed. Well also take lots of notes!
|
| Part 2. Concept Development |
- A scaled base map will be created that shows you where the residence/building is on the lot and other key site elements.
- Next,
a preliminary plan will be created for you that may include conceptual
space usage for arrival and outdoor entry, living/entertaining, food
preparation, dining, recreational, work/storage and garden(s).
- Finally, the preliminary plan is presented to you for review and comments.
|
| Part 3. Final Design |
- After
you have approved the preliminary plan, well develop a to-scale
drawing of the final plan. This drawing will be tailored to meet site
demands and your needs and desires.
- The final plan will
specify hard goods and plant materials and provide recommendations for
installation of all of the projects components.
- When the final plan is complete, it will be presented to you for comment and approval.
|
After
you have approved the final design, the next step is to build it.
Spears Landscape, Inc. has extensive project management experience so
the project can move forward smoothly:
|
- The bid(s) are presented to you for approval.
- Installation (and phasing if necessary) are scheduled.
- The work is begun on time and finished within budget.
